Massachusetts uses the term “Parenting Time” to describe child visitation between a non-custodial parent and his or her child. In divorce cases as well as paternity actions, where the parties were never married, we know that the time we spend with our children is coveted and very special. When the details of parenting time are created in a court document known as a "Parenting Plan" it significantly impacts children and their parents. We are also sensitive to the fact that parents have hectic schedules and that details such as when and where the child will be picked up and dropped off as well as who will have the child during school vacations and holidays are important matters to be negotiated between the parties. We will work with you and the court system to negotiate the best possible parenting schedule for your family.
