Mediation allows both parties to reach a fair settlement with a neutral third party. Parties in the mediation have the ability to make joint decisions involving finances, custody issues and property issues as opposed to relying on a judge to issue an order regarding the matter. In this type of environment, the parties have the ability to reach their own decision to resolve the issue. The alternative could be severe where a judge could make a decision that is incongruent with the wishes of the parties involved.

Another benefit to mediation is that is allows the parties to control the time-frame of the case and often times saves money in the process. Traditional divorces can be very time-consuming and costly but mediation can provide s a win/win solution because of the diminished levels of stress, time, and costs associated with keeping the case out of court.
We are trained mediators and experienced in assisting parties to reach their own negotiated dispute resolution.
